- Menu Planning: Collaborate with the team to create menu plans that cater to the diverse tastes and nutritional needs of the residents.
- Recipe Execution: Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and minimise food waste.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience as a Cook in a similar setting, preferably within a care home or healthcare environment.
- Food Safety Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with relevant certifications.
- Time Management: Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Organisation: Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Attitude: A positive attitude and a genuine passion for cooking nutritious and delicious meals.
- Flexibility: Evenings and weekends as required, on a rota basis.
