Animal Care Support Worker

We are seeking compassionate individuals who can provide emotional support and companionship to our residents, with a focus on animal care activities. If you have a passion for animals and enjoy working with people, this is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference.
About the Role:
We welcome volunteers with various skills and interests to join our team. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
- Spending quality time with residents who need companionship.
- Assisting with gardening activities and outdoor pursuits.
- Participating in art, craft, and baking sessions.
- Joining clubs such as book club or knitting club.
- Supporting events within our homes.
- Playing cards and board games with residents.
What We Offer:
No previous experience is required to become a volunteer. Our induction process includes:
- Completing an application form.
- Come in for a chat to get to know you.
- Carry out a free DBS check (if aged over 16).
- Attend an induction to get to know our home and residents.
The estimated salary range for this role is £20,000-£22,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
