Aerospace Engineering Project Specialist

Our client, a leading pump manufacturer, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring on-time delivery and commercial commitments of workshop repairs.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake contract review to establish work scope required.
- Customer liaison regarding progress of work, commercial issues, and component supply.
- Plan workshop activities to meet customer requirements, contract deadlines, and output requirements.
- Assist other shop activities and be flexible within the hub.
- Understanding and adherence to WPI HSEQ procedures, policies, and systems.
- Identification and integration to job work scope of reverse engineering opportunities.
- Final inspection release of repair orders.
Minimum HNC/HND in a mechanical engineering discipline is preferable / time served. Commercial awareness is desirable.
Language SkillsFluent English essential.
Reasoning AbilityStrong level of mechanical comprehension.
Computer SkillsGood IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, and Project.
Work EnvironmentOffice-based with set periods required in the workshop for training on appointment.
Commercial KnowledgeGood commercial awareness with the ability to review contractual terms and conditions.
