Project Engineer - Rotating Equipment

Complete Talent Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of workshop overhauls, spares manufacturing, and site activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely delivery and commercial commitments of workshop repairs.
  • Undertake contract review to establish work scope required.
  • Prepare condition assessment reports and quotations/tenders in line with customer requirements.
  • Procure materials, spares, and third-party services to meet delivery requirements.
  • Commercially manage jobs to ensure costs are in line with those tendered.
  • Liaise with customers regarding progress of work, commercial issues, and component supply.
  • Plan workshop activities to meet customer requirements, contract deadlines, and output requirements.
  • Manage order books to ensure compliance with customer order requirements, progress reports, and maintain output targets in line with monthly forecasts.
  • Prepare job files for timely invoicing, final sign-off, and closure.
Requirements:
  • Minimum HNC/HND in a mechanical engineering discipline or time-served experience.
  • Commercial awareness is desirable.
  • Fluent English essential.
  • Knowledge of rotating equipment, specifically pumps and motors.
  • Strong mechanical comprehension and ability to read technical drawings.
  • Good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Project.
Work Environment:

Office-based with set periods required in the workshop for training on appointment.
