Job Title: Higher-Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Romsey. As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teachers with their lessons and working alongside a team of support staff in the class.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teachers with their lessons and provide additional support to students as needed
  • Work alongside a team of support staff in the class to ensure a smooth and effective learning environment
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons, including preparing materials and resources
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students on their work and progress
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and independently
  • Passion for education and improving the attainment of pupils
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting
