Sustainability Consultant - Energy Efficiency Expert

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Consultant with a focus on energy efficiency to join our dynamic and forward-thinking consultancy. Our client is a leading player in the sustainable design and energy performance space, committed to driving environmental innovation in the built environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct energy and environmental performance analysis using IESVE software.
  2. Provide expert guidance on Building Regulations Part L and Part O compliance for new and existing buildings.
  3. Support energy assessments and calculations for planning applications and building certifications, including SBEM.
  4. Collaborate with design teams to implement sustainable solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Lead sustainability assessments and contribute to the development of energy strategies that meet regulatory and client requirements.
  6. Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure effective project delivery.
Requirements:
  1. Have detailed working knowledge of Building Regulations Part L, including energy performance requirements.
  2. Have extensive experience in IESVE software for energy modelling and environmental simulations.
  3. Be familiar with Part O regulations concerning overheating and SBEM.
  4. Have a background in sustainable building design, energy efficiency, and low-carbon technology.
  5. Have strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide clear solutions.
  6. Be able to commute into Bristol 2 days a week.
