About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Diaverum's Furness clinic. As a key member of our renal care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients with chronic kidney failure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain clean equipment and supplies in accordance with Diaverum procedures.
  • Prepare treatment packs and supplies for patients.
  • Conduct health checks with patients before and after dialysis.
  • Escort patients to clinical and waiting areas.
  • Serve refreshments during treatments.

Requirements

  • GCSE level or equivalent education.
  • Minimum NVQ level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is ideal.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
