About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a special interest in Haematology to join our Oncology Pharmacy team at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our friendly and enthusiastic team, providing clinical pharmacy services to patients within a specialist area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver clinical pharmacy services to patients within Haematology, including provision of highly specialist review and advice relating to the safe use of medicines.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical pharmacy services to meet the needs of patients and the trust.
  • Contribute to the development of the pharmacy team, providing leadership and guidance as required.
Person Specification

We are looking for a Clinical Pharmacist with:

  • Extensive previous hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Experience of delivering clinical pharmacy services to patients within Haematology.
  • Expert knowledge of national policy, strategy, guidance, and evidence-base relating to the speciality.
  • Broad knowledge base of a wide range of clinical areas.
