Job Title: Childcare Trainer and Assessor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Childcare Trainer and Assessor to join our team at KM Education Recruitment Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Early Years Childcare and experience in delivering Childcare Apprenticeships.

Critical Requirements:

  • Must hold a recognised Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
  • Must have experience of delivering Childcare Apprenticeships (New Standards).
  • Must hold solid occupational experience within Early Years Childcare (Nursery setting) at Management level.
  • Must hold own Level 3 qualification, or above, in Early Years.
  • Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and support learners working towards the Early Years Apprenticeships up to Level 5.
  • Support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
  • Delivering via a blended learning approach (Microsoft Teams and face-to-face).
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely assessments and reviews are conducted.
  • Develop own schemes of work.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
