Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Safeguarding Specialist to join our team. As a Safeguarding Adults Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and evaluating a seamless specialist service, ensuring that patients receive the highest standard of clinical care.
Main Responsibilities
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice, education, and support to healthcare professionals and patients. You will also undertake clinical audits and research within the specialist area, contributing to the ongoing development of clinical practice, research, and standards of care within the service.
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
- BSC/1st degree (health related) or equivalent qualification/training and experience
- Current First Level Nurse Registration on the NMC register or equivalent
Desirable Criteria
- Postgraduate Safeguarding Adults study
- Mental Health qualification
Skills and Knowledge

- Ability to clinically lead & influence staff
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal & communication skills
