About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Specialist to join our team at Capita Health Assessment Advisory Service. As a Functional Health Assessment Advisor, you will play a vital role in evaluating the health and disability needs of individuals, providing recommendations to support informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of claimants' health conditions and disabilities
  • Develop comprehensive reports to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective assessments
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices

Requirements:

  • 1 year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
  • Full registration with a relevant UK regulatory body
  • Excellent observational and communication skills
  • Ability to work quickly and produce high-quality reports

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £38,500 (pro rata for part-time) plus up to 5% training bonus
  • 25 days' holiday (rising to 27 after 5 years) with the opportunity to buy extra leave (pro rata for part-time)
  • Annual professional registration fee reimbursed and supported revalidation
