Orka Financial is partnering with a growing tech business to hire a Senior Financial Accountant. This role is ideal for a progressive ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant or finalist looking to join the UK arm of a global operation.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage month-end processes, focusing on automation and improvement.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany matching processes.
- Maintain fixed assets and IFRS 16, including annual asset reviews.
- Prepare ONS returns and submissions, as well as cash flow forecasting and cash pooling management.
- Assist with annual audits and statutory accounts processes.
- Report and partner on indirect cost centers, forecasting, and budget preparation.
- Monitor lease agreements and support property strategy.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, synergies, and EBIT improvement.
- Present monthly business review collations and distribute.
- Prepare and review corporation tax.
- Optimize processes through SAP and manage VAT returns for the UK and Ireland.
- Process multiple currency transactions and document finance processes.
A competitive salary of £55,000-£60,000 plus benefits is offered for this role.
