We are currently seeking an experienced Energy Risk Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining a prioritised management programme for the company's energy assets, balancing stakeholder expectations while identifying and promoting best value solutions for reducing risk, maintaining compliance, and delivering energy resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work across UU with stakeholders to develop and implement business energy resilience and prioritised energy infrastructure plans.
  • Responsible for the energy programme ensuring statutory compliance is met, and remedial work is prioritised to minimise H&S and resilience risk.
  • Develop Project Requirements Statements to articulate investment needs, agree these with the delivery organisation, and sponsor activities through the project lifecycle.
Requirements
  • A good understanding of the regulatory framework and funding mechanisms.
  • Experience of risk management techniques with a sound knowledge of investment and appraisal methods.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.

  • A salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
