Sales and Business Development Representative

About the Role:

Austin Fraser is seeking a highly motivated Sales and Business Development Representative to join their team in Buckingham. This office-based role involves working Monday to Friday, 25 hours a week, providing vital support to the business development function of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Main Duty 1: Carry out 'warm lead' telephone calls from an extensive database to promote products and services (50% of workload)
  • Main Duty 2: Conduct sales quotation follow-up telephone calls (50% of workload)
  • Utilize software to generate and enhance sales leads
  • Generate general sales leads
  • Meet targets on telephone calls and sales orders
  • Upsell products and services
  • Organize sales meetings and site visits for directors
  • Produce sales references
  • Respond to incoming sales calls
  • Update enquiry/customer/supplier records on bespoke computer software
  • Issue sales brochures and technical literature
  • Send sales letters as appropriate
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently. You should also have experience in sales and be able to develop a client base and contacts.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
