About the Role

As a highly skilled Mental Health Team Lead, you will oversee the safe management of patient admissions and discharges at Chapman Barker Unit within Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the Admissions and Discharge team in promoting timely admissions and discharges.

You will work closely with community providers, frontline staff, and addiction services to build capacity and understanding of the unit's service offer. This includes leading on the RADAR pathway, which facilitates timely admissions from acute hospital Accident and Emergencies.

The successful candidate will provide education, advice, and support to referring services and offer training to maximize safe and timely discharges. Key responsibilities include acting as a resource for education and advice, liaising with key agencies, and providing supervision and training to the admission team.

Salary: £43,877 - £52,897 per annum (inclusive of spine points 26-31)
