The Manchester College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at our Openshaw Campus. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of the alternative education project, ensuring that learners receive high-quality support and guidance.
  • Work in partnership with the Manchester Secondary Pupil Referral Unit to provide a comprehensive education program for young people.
  • Line manage a small team of project workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address the emotional and behavioral barriers to learning faced by learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that learners receive a seamless and supportive education experience.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 Youth Work / Teaching qualification or equivalent.
  • Maths and English at Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of delivering curriculum to young people.
  • Appropriate experience in leading and managing education programs with young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
