Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Field Engineer to join our team at Computeam, a leading education technology provider. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical assistance to our clients across the UK.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company that is passionate about improving education outcomes using technology. If you have a good understanding of IT systems and are able to communicate complex technical concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and off-site technical support to our clients, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with our project managers to share knowledge and best practices related to school technical infrastructures and systems.
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels of seniority.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in non-technical terms to fully support their IT use and engagement.

Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in IT support or consultancy services, ideally in the Education or Public Sectors.
  • Working knowledge of firewalls, Windows AD, Azure AD, MS Intune device management.
  • MS Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
  • MS Server build knowledge and hands-on experience.

Benefits
  • A competitive salary of £24,000 - £30,000 per annum (full-time).
  • Mileage expenses reimbursement (own car essential and full driving licence).
  • Laptop and phone provided.
  • Hours: 40 per week between 8am and 5pm.
  • Days: Monday – Friday only.
  • Where: Mostly on-site at schools and some work from home.
