The Opportunity:
  • Provide one-to-one maths tuition sessions, creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters confidence and understanding.
  • Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to the unique needs of each student, promoting engagement and motivation.
  • Foster strong relationships with guardians and case workers, working collaboratively to achieve exceptional results and celebrate student progress.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience working with children or young people, particularly those requiring additional tuition.
  • Exceptional maths skills and knowledge, with the ability to break down complex concepts into easily understandable lessons.
  • Awareness of behaviour management strategies, creating a safe and inclusive learning space.
  • Organisational skills, with the ability to set clear goals and targets, monitor progress, and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
  • Salary: £29,000 - £39,000 per year.
Terms and Conditions:
  • Term-time hours, mainly between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance.
  • Suitable for individuals with an education or social care background, passionate about supporting students.
