About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Dental Nurse to join our Oral Health Improvement department in NHS Lothian. As an Oral Health Specialist, you will play a vital role in promoting the oral health of children in Scotland, working closely with our Childsmile programme to deliver fluoride varnish to children in need.
This is a fixed-term post for 6 months, working on a part-time basis during term time. You will be based in our Oral Health Service, working closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration with the Scottish Dental Council as a Registered Dental Nurse
- Experience of working in a community dental setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexibly and as part of a team
