As a Compliance Specialist with the Border Force, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and legal movement of goods in and out of the country. You will investigate imports and exports, enforce international trade laws, and collect unpaid taxes. This dynamic, intelligence-driven role offers a unique opportunity to safeguard the nation while facilitating global commerce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating customs controls at points of import/export to the UK and checking goods and documents to ensure compliance with Customs
- Using law enforcement powers to arrest people, seize goods and collaborate with other law enforcement partners on Border offences
