About the Role

We are seeking an experienced People Services professional to lead our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive, high-quality operational HR service, focusing on service excellence and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the People Services Team in delivering a first-class HR service, driving performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee incoming HR enquiries, ensuring efficient handling and standardised operating processes.
  • Act as People Service Team SME, aligning HR & People Services operations with law, regulations, and company policy.
  • Support the People Services Team in delivering comprehensive advice and support on all aspects of HR, including ER matters.
  • Ensure effective vendor management of HR service providers, fostering strong collaborative relationships.
  • Oversee the resourcing process, including liaison with recruitment partners and parent companies.
  • Deliver all HR administrative processes and procedures, overseeing volumes of workflow and activity.
About You
  • Qualified (CIPD level 5) and credible HR professional with demonstratable experience working in a shared services environment.
  • Proficient working knowledge of HR systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
  • 'Hands on' practical approach to everyday tasks, with a willingness to 'muck in' during busy periods.
  • Confident relationship builder, ideally with experience in managing third parties.
