Job Title: People Services Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People Services Team Leader to join our team at Aspire Defence Service Limited (ADSL). As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for leading the People Services Team in delivering a comprehensive operational HR service centered around quality of service and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the People Services Team in delivering a high-quality HR service to employees and managers.
  • Act as a champion for the shared central service across the business, promoting the People Services Team as a credible one-stop shop for generalist HR advice, support, and guidance.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the People Services Team, supporting decisions relating to talent hiring, performance, and disciplinary matters.
  • Champion a strong continuous improvement culture within the People Services Team, ensuring the deployment of scalable, simplified, and standardized processes.
  • Act as the People Services Team SME, aligning HR & People Services operations with law regulations and company policy.
Requirements:
  • CIPD qualification to level 5.
  • Full UK valid driving licence required.
  • Experience working in a shared service environment, with sound proven knowledge of employment legislation and experience working with HR systems.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and spoken, with a practical and proactive approach, ability to show initiative, and pay attention to detail.
