We are seeking a skilled Clinical Practitioner to join our AWP CAMHS Eating Disorder Home Treatment Team. This exciting opportunity allows you to work with a dynamic and motivated team, passionate about supporting Children & Young People (CYP) to access intensive mental health support in their home environment.
You will be working across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, alongside CAMHS community teams. A driving license and access to a car/ability to confidently travel across the region are essential.
You will be working with CYP who have a range of eating difficulties and other comorbidities, at risk of hospital admission, who haven't responded to community treatment, or require support to return home from a hospital admission.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including Band 7 Team Manager, Band 7 Senior Mental Health Practitioners, Band 6 Mental Health Practitioners, and Band 4 Support Workers. Clear lines of clinical and managerial supervision are in place.
This is a fixed-term 12-month role, which could be considered as a secondment should your current service be in agreement.
Your role will be based in our Home Treatment Team, working alongside locality CAMHS teams, supporting young people and families/carers with a range of eating disorders and co-morbidities.
You will provide regular support in the home for young people, their families, and/or carers, including regular meal support. You will work alongside and offer excellent supervision to support workers within the team, in order to provide person-centred care to a high standard and prevent young people from being admitted to inpatient services, allowing them to get better at home.
You will need to lead support within the EDHTT and be flexible and adaptable, taking into account the evidence-based treatment for various young people with presentations of eating difficulties and other comorbidities.
