Job Title: Adjunct Professor of French

The Department of Modern Languages at Widener University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Professor of French. The successful candidate will have experience teaching Francophone language and culture at the undergraduate level and will be expected to teach primarily language classes at the beginner and intermediate levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach a three-course load for the academic year, including lower-division French and Francophone literature and culture courses.
  • Design and implement syllabi for language acquisition pedagogy and techniques.
  • Hold a minimum of 4 office hours weekly.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in French or a closely related field.
  • Experience teaching French language at the undergraduate level.
