Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team at Nicholas Hendry Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of our client, a well-established FMCG brand in Dundee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase Ledger Maintenance: Ensure accurate and timely recording of purchase transactions.
- Sales Ledger Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records.
- Supplier Payments: Process and pay suppliers in a timely manner.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns on a timely basis.
- Payroll Support: Assist with payroll processing and administration.
- General Financial Administration: Perform various administrative tasks related to financial management.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Proficient in Xero, Dext, and Microsoft Excel.
- Education: Relevant qualifications in accounting or finance.
