We are seeking a reliable and experienced Cover Supervisor to work in secondary schools based in Erdington, B23. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising a classroom in the absence of the teacher, engaging and motivating students to complete their work, and managing classroom behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a classroom in the absence of the teacher
- Engage and motivate students to complete their work
- Manage classroom behaviour
- Ensure students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
Requirements:
- Previous teaching experience
- A Bachelor's degree in any subject
- Up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum
- Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Up-to-date Safeguarding Training
