Job Opportunity: Freelance Site Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Site Engineer to join our team at Kenton Black Ltd. As a Freelance Site Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Setting out and surveying construction sites using total stations and traditional methods.
  2. Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  3. Coordinating with designers and other stakeholders to resolve technical queries and ensure project compliance.
  4. Conducting site inspections and testing to ensure quality, safety, and environmental standards are met.
  5. Managing and maintaining accurate records of project progress and site activities.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  2. Relevant CSCS certification and civil engineering-related qualifications.
  3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software applications.
