The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing costs and ensuring financial control across multiple energy and water efficiency projects.

You will work closely with project teams to provide cost planning, budgeting, and contractual advice throughout all project stages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing procurement, cost reporting, and contractor negotiations
  • Monitoring budget adherence and implementing cost-saving measures
  • Preparing accurate cost estimates, including materials, labour, and overhead costs
  • Providing regular reports on project progress and cost performance
  • Identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies
About You

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience in estimating, surveying, or tendering within construction or building services
  • Knowledge of financial processes and developing cost value reconciliation processes
  • The ability to read and understand architectural drawings/plans and develop cost estimates
  • Strong communication skills
  • A BSc in Quantity Surveying or similar

Experience working with NEC and JCT contracts would be beneficial to your application.
