About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Rotational Physiotherapist to join our team at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work across various paediatric specialities, including Neurology, Haematology/Oncology, Cardiorespiratory, Neuromuscular, Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Neuro-disability.

Key Responsibilities

  • To undertake all aspects of your clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
  • To be professionally and legally responsible and accountable for all aspects of your own work.
  • To accept clinical responsibility for own caseload and prioritise appropriately working without direct supervision.
  • To provide cover across the department during episodes of staff shortage or heavy workload to ensure service delivery.
  • To be responsible for maintaining own competency to practice through reflective practice and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
  • To contribute to the teaching of physiotherapy assistants within core clinical areas in liaison with other members of the physiotherapy team.

Person Specification

  • Experience of working as part of a diverse team.
  • Experience of contributing to an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in physiotherapy.
  • Health Professions Council Registration.
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and relevant Clinical Interest group(s).
