Job Summary

The Academic and Examinations Officer will be responsible for ensuring the school's compliance with examination regulations and awarding body guidelines. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage the examinations team and liaise with senior leadership, teaching staff, and external bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the school's examinations team and ensure compliance with examination regulations and awarding body guidelines.
  • Liaise with senior leadership, teaching staff, and external bodies to ensure smooth examination processes.
  • Manage and coordinate examination schedules, timetables, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure examination security and integrity.
  • Collaborate with the SEN Department and Heads of Department to ensure inclusive and accessible examination practices.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in a school examinations team and strong leadership and communication skills. Previous experience of managing a team would be valuable.

The Trust is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Statutory checks including a satisfactory DBS certificate and references will be a requirement for this role.
