About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Homelessness Support Professional to join our team in Southampton. This is a full-time position, requiring 37 hours of work per week.

The estimated salary for this role is £24,500, with the potential to progress up to £26,350.

In this role, you will work closely with young people, providing guidance and support to help them overcome challenges related to homelessness and improve their overall wellbeing.

Main Responsibilities

  • Client Support: Provide individualized support to clients, focusing on developing life skills, improving practical abilities, and enhancing personal growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with external partners, including family nurse practitioners, social services, and other agencies, to ensure seamless support for our clients.
  • Safeguarding: Maintain a high level of awareness regarding safeguarding procedures, ensuring a safe environment for both clients and staff.
  • Case Management: Manage client cases effectively, prioritizing needs and implementing strategies to address specific challenges.

Requirements
