Specialist Community Perinatal Mental Health Team

We provide specialized support to women and birthing parents experiencing moderate to severe mental health issues or high-risk relapse during pregnancy and postnatal periods. Our multidisciplinary team offers assessment, treatment, and psychological interventions to address mental ill health and enhance parent-infant relationships.

We work across Bristol, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire, adopting a shared care ethos to ensure women have access to specialist support, advice, risk assessment, and care planning for their mental health needs. This includes multiagency training in perinatal mental health to professionals and agencies working with women and birthing parents.

This role is open to qualified professionals seeking to work in this specialized field. We are committed to delivering high-quality care and strive to make a positive impact on the lives of women and their families.

The salary for this position is estimated to be within the range of £40,000 to £60,000 per annum.
