An exciting opportunity exists to join our esteemed Breast Care team at North Bristol NHS Trust as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP). This position offers the chance to work autonomously, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of best practices in breast care.
This role is available for both experienced ACPs and those looking to undertake training as a band 7. The successful candidate will have completed training to practice as an autonomous Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) with a background in Nursing or Allied Health Professionals (AHP).
The job involves rapid assessment, diagnostics, and treatment of individuals within the Breast Surgery service using advanced professional accountability, autonomy, and judgment, underpinned by Master's level theory and experience.
We estimate that the salary for this role will be around £54,000 - £70,000 per annum, based on the UK national average for Advanced Clinical Practitioners in the NHS.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, differentially diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individual treatment interventions for patients using expert clinical judgment and close liaison with members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
- Exercise professional judgment to manage risk appropriately, especially where there may be complex and unpredictable events, and support teams to do likewise to ensure safety for individuals, families, and carers.
- Ensure compliance with their respective code of professional conduct and work within their scope of practice.
