Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our eTeam team. This role will be responsible for maintaining the operational status and maximizing availability of assets to programme demanders.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver Technical Excellence by providing a resilient, cost-effective, highly available infrastructure to the business.
  2. Manage the day-to-day sustainment of Infrastructure Systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, and problem management are properly addressed and monitored.
  3. Diagnose and follow through to resolution any problems, escalating to team members or other teams and vendors when required.
  4. Build relationships with other teams within IT Operations to enable better support and communications.
  5. Maintain technical skills to benefit from new and emerging technologies to make supportive decisions.
  6. Attend technical briefings/support groups.
  7. Understand and develop support system road maps.
  8. Experience around packaging applications is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  1. Microsoft Configuration Manager - top skill needed.
  2. Microsoft AppV - top skill needed.
  3. Ivanti Workspace Control - desirable.
  4. Ivanti Device and Application Control - desirable.
  5. Advanced Installer and InstallShield, sometimes MSI Studio - desirable.
  6. PowerShell scripting Skills - top skill needed.
  7. Group Policy - desirable.
