Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our eTeam team in Aldermaston Reading. As a key member of our IT Operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the operational status and maximizing availability of our assets to meet programme demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver technical excellence in infrastructure systems management.
  2. Provide a resilient, cost-effective, and highly available infrastructure to support hosted services.
  3. Manage day-to-day sustainment of infrastructure systems, ensuring planning, end-user impact, change management, and problem management are properly addressed.
  4. Diagnose and resolve problems, escalating to team members or other teams and vendors when required.
  5. Build relationships with other IT teams to enable better support and communications.
  6. Maintain technical skills to benefit from new and emerging technologies.
  7. Attend technical briefings and support groups.
  8. Develop support system road maps.
  9. Experience in packaging applications and migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

Requirements:

  1. Microsoft Configuration Manager expertise.
  2. PowerShell scripting skills.
  3. Group Policy knowledge.
  4. Ivanti Workspace Control and Ivanti Device and Application Control experience.
  5. Advanced Installer and InstallShield skills.
