We are seeking a highly skilled Tunnel Operations and Monitoring Specialist to join our team on the HS2 London Tunnels Contract.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in managing instrument monitoring systems, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement monitoring plans for installation, operation, maintenance, and removal of equipment and instrumentation.
- Manage all aspects of tunnel operations, including close collaboration with subcontractors and stakeholders.
- Supervise instrument installation, monitoring, calibration checks, and maintenance to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Ensure baseline readings are obtained prior to construction and monitor at specified frequencies.
- Attend review meetings and report against agreed trigger levels.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant scientific subject.
- Demonstrable previous experience in management, installation, implementation, operation, maintenance, and removal of instrument monitoring systems on a major project.
- At least 3 years' experience in team management.
- Adaptable, decisive, and possessing good self-management skills.
- Hold a valid PTS Card.
