Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Cable Jointer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing services across all distribution assets, including overhead lines, underground cabling, and substations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute cable jointing and termination of low and high voltage cables.
  • Conduct inspections and tests to ensure integrity and safety of cable installations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
  • Adhere to SSE guidelines and industry standards throughout all tasks.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to apprentices and junior team members.
Requirements
  • City and Guilds 2339 (formally 2322) certificate or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card.
  • Hold a valid First Aid Qualification.
  • DNO operational authorisation.
  • Clean Driving Licence.
