Heavy Plant Engineer

We are seeking a Heavy Plant Engineer to join our engineering team at our depot near Falkirk. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a range of generators (10KVA - 400KVA) in a workshop environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Servicing and repairing generators, conducting routine inspections, tests, and diagnostics.
  • Maintaining accurate paperwork and maintenance records.
  • Ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times.
Requirements:
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and electrical systems related to generators or heavy plant machinery.
  • Qualifications: NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent.
  • Bonus Skills: Experience with brands like FG Wilson, Cummins, Perkins, CAT, Atlas Copco, Himoinsa, and more.
