Electrical Maintenance Specialist

The position of Electrical Maintenance Specialist is available at Marshalls PLC in Falkirk. This role involves ensuring the continuous running of production processes through safe and logical approaches to fault finding and equipment maintenance.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive engineering activities on-site, working 42 hours per week according to the Dupont shift pattern that covers days and nights. The benefits include 7 consecutive days off and working only 2 weekends out of 4.

A time-served or apprentice-trained individual with electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent) is required for this position. Additionally, a good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements, is necessary. Practical hands-on experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities is also essential.

Salary: Competitive + benefits, estimated around £45,000 - £60,000 per annum based on the location and industry standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias to join our busy Maintenance Team at our production site in Falkirk.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Time served/apprentice trained in a similar position with Electrical qualifications (C&G 2320 P1 & P2, ONC, NVQ 3 or equivalent)
  • Good understanding of current environmental and health and safety issues and knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Practical hands-on approach
  • Experience in electrical fault finding, defect rectification, and routine maintenance activities
