About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Media Relations Manager to join our team at Serco Limited. As a key member of our External Communications team, you will be responsible for managing our media relations and reputation across the UK and Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a proactive media strategy to position Serco favourably in the media
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders, Government Press Offices, and other key stakeholders
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on media opportunities and issues
  • Devise and deliver engaging stories and case studies to showcase our business
  • Support the development of communication materials and campaigns
Requirements
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Demonstrable experience in media relations and reputation management
  • Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong understanding of current affairs and politics
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
