**Job Title:** High-Performance Test Technician

**Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced High-Performance Test Technician to join our Wind Tunnel Operations team in the role of Wind Tunnel Specialist.

**About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for the smooth technical operation of our state-of-the-art wind tunnel facility.

**Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide operational and first-line support to the wind tunnel and its associated systems.
  2. Routine checks and calibration of Wind Tunnel model instrumentation, pre and post Wind Tunnel session and during model builds.
  3. Assemble, operate, and maintain bench test rigs for system checking both on and off model.
  4. Record data and document experimental methods, configurations, and procedures.

**Requirements:

  • Previous experience in one or more of the following: Wind Tunnel systems and aerodynamic testing, high-level motorsport or automotive research and testing environments, mechanical engineering, electrical or electronic engineering, systems engineering.
  • Excellent practical and technical skills, strong background in engineering, effective communication, ability to work under pressure.

**What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.
  • Flexible approach to working hours including shift work and occasional weekends.
