About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Housing Support Worker to join our team at Riverside. As a Housing Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to vulnerable individuals, helping them to maintain and sustain their tenancies, and empowering them to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide housing-related support to customers, including helping them to manage their tenancies, connect with employability coaches, and access benefits.
  • Work with customers to develop and implement bespoke support plans, focusing on their strengths and needs.
  • Engage with customers to promote their independence, self-management, and confidence-building.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless support services.
  • Contribute to the delivery of a housing management service, including income collection and tenancy-related support.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with vulnerable individuals, particularly those with complex needs.
  • Ability to deliver structured support and risk management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and empathetic approach.
  • Previous experience in resolving incidents and making informed decisions.
  • Competent administrative and IT skills, with the ability to produce reports and communications.
