As a Procurement Lead, you will be responsible for managing specific platforms, liaising with Product Planning, Engineering Platform Leads, Project Management Office, and Procurement to develop platform strategies and ensure the delivery of all Procurement activities on new programmes on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting on-time delivery of new programmes within their platform group.
  • Ensuring those plans support maintaining and building on our high-quality standards.
  • Reducing development lead-times of new model parts.
  • Delivering programmes to budget for BOM cost and investment.
  • Facilitating bringing new market technologies to our products expediently.

Requirements:

  • Experience within project or purchasing experience.
  • Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with AS400 and Infor LN.
  • Self-motivated and resilient.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Analytical & Logical.
  • Able to take instruction and work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, clear and concise written and verbal skills.
