Care Assistant Job Summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Shrewsbury is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our expanding team. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care to our clients in their own homes, supporting them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Job Description:

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
  • Help with household duties, including cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Administer medication as required, maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities that promote mental and physical well-being

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in a care setting, or completion of a recognised care qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • A full UK driver's licence and access to a vehicle (for some assignments)
