About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Enterprise Architect to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As a key member of our Enterprise Architecture team, you will play a critical role in shaping the technology strategy for Parliament.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Parliament's Enterprise Architecture repository, ensuring data accuracy and generating outputs to support the Enterprise Architecture team and Digital Steering Groups.
  • Align initiatives with digital and parliamentary objectives, analyzing technology needs, and contributing to the development of standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
  • Develop solid architectural designs, adhering to technical governance processes and applying organizational standards and methodologies.
  • Identify and mitigate architecture challenges or risks, ensuring successful outcomes that align with parliamentary priorities and meet parliamentary standards.
  • Maintain technical roadmaps, identifying opportunities and challenges, and ensuring compliance with parliamentary guidelines and security protocols.
Requirements
  • Relevant technical experience, demonstrating good awareness of architectures, technologies, and programming languages.
  • Experience in collecting data, ensuring data quality, and analyzing and presenting data to stakeholders.
  • Awareness of reference architectures and technology policies, with experience following technical governance processes.
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, and uphold equality, diversity, and inclusion values.
  • Ability to make evidence-based decisions, considering risk and complexity, and understanding the impact of organizational context.
  • Ability to pass security clearance and have the right to work in the UK.
About the Team

The Enterprise Architecture team is part of the Office of the CTO, responsible for developing Parliament's technology strategy. We map Parliament's digital landscape, work with teams to understand digital demand, and develop roadmaps and reference architectures.
