Job Title: Head of Production Planning & Logistics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Production Planning & Logistics to lead our production planning and logistics capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure people, systems, and processes meet current and future business challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a large team of planning and logistics professionals to deliver operational excellence across a broad variety of products.
  • Drive manufacturing performance improvements through effective planning and control of manufacturing assumptions, scenario modelling, and operational priorities.
  • Develop and manage an effective decision-making forum within the manufacturing Sales and Operations process.
  • Control and integrate manufacturing ERP system inputs and outputs to ensure effective logistical support for material and product flow.
  • Manage external supply chain operations via Procurement to meet customer and internal requirements.
  • Act as the System and Manufacturing data owner, providing Planning Control and Logistics support to operational teams.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, extensive operational experience with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and customer needs. They will also have experience in high-rate production with a focus on process automation and digital technology, proven ability to lead cultural, technological, and operational transformations, and strong leadership in workforce development, engagement, and safety.
