Clinical Lead Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join our busy Community Learning Disability Team in Swansea Bay University Health Board.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the knowledge and skills required to manage a clinical caseload and lead a team of nurses and healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with learning disabilities.
Main Responsibilities- Manage a clinical caseload and lead the nursing team in delivering compassionate, effective, and efficient care to patients with learning disabilities.
- Supervise and support the professional and clinical work of community nursing staff, ensuring adherence to NMC standards and legislative frameworks.
- Provide expert clinical advice and intervention on complex issues, and participate in systems and structures that promote the rights, responsibilities, and diversities of people with learning disabilities.
- Manage the allocated budget and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient delivery of care to patients.
- Registered Nurse Learning Disability or Mental Health Qualification.
- Degree qualification in a relevant field of practice.
- Knowledge of legislation pertinent to the role, including Safeguarding, Mental Health Measure (Wales), and Continuing Health Care.
