About the Role

This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join Trial Balance Consulting's head office near Camborne.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Planning: Develop and implement effective financial plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Accounting Operations: Manage the accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and management accounts.
  3. Cash Flow Management: Optimize cash flow by controlling the aged debtor function and managing bank accounts.
  4. VAT Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely VAT reporting to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  5. Inventory Management: Implement efficient stock control and costing analysis to reduce inventory levels and costs.
  6. Financial Reporting: Produce regular financial reports to inform business decisions and drive growth.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, with AAT qualification or equivalent vocational experience. Excellent IT skills, particularly in MS Excel and Sage, are essential for this role.
