We are seeking a highly motivated Show Coordinator to join our team at The British Blacklist in Westend London.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of our productions, including rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role within a large-scale musical production, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  1. Liaise with the company manager, technical departments, resident creative team, production and general management teams, and venue staff to ensure the smooth running of all rehearsals and performances.
  2. Responsible for setting up and running rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances, ensuring the creative team and company are supported suitably.
  3. Manage the backstage and onstage areas during performances, overseeing scene changes to ensure these occur safely.
  4. Handle any problems that occur during performances quickly and calmly.
  5. Familiarise yourself with all plots/tracks within the stage management department to provide holiday or absence cover for other department members as needed.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a similar role within a large-scale musical production working with an international cast.
  • Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills with cast, creative and production teams.
  • Organised with excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Able to work according to the Health and Safety Policy and maintain an excellent working knowledge of all relevant health and safety legislation and good working practices.
Salary and Benefits
