About the Role

ECI is seeking an experienced Senior Linux DevOps Engineer to join our London team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Linux-based infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable Linux infrastructure on bare metal
  • Configure and manage core Linux infrastructure, including storage systems and network configurations
  • Automate tasks and troubleshoot issues using scripting languages such as bash, python, or perl
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of our infrastructure
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Linux technologies and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or a similar role in a large enterprise environment
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux
  • Deep expertise with Linux running on premise host (avoid cloud only expertise)
  • Experience with VMware, NetApp, Calico, Grafana, Prometheus, and traefik
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as bash, python, or perl
  • Familiarity with development tools such as Helm, Ansible, and Terraform
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
